Hello! I am Mrs. Galley, and this is my twelfth year teaching at Whittier Elementary. I began my teaching career as the 4th and 5th grade special education teacher in the fall of 1999. I have been teaching 5th grade for the last 9 years.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the spring of 1999 with degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education-learning disabilities. I also have a Masters Degree in Reading from Carthage College.
I live here in Kenosha. Actually, except for college, I have lived here all my life! Currently, I live by Forest Park. My two children, Jake 6 and Lukas 4, attend Forest Park Elementary School. Jake is in first grade and Lukas is in the 4 year kindergarten program.
As a family, we enjoy taking walks, going to the boys’ soccer games, and playing games such as Life and Wii. I like to ride my bike, exercise, and I absolutely LOVE to read. My favorite books include the Harry Potter series and the Percy Jackson series.
I am thrilled to teach your children. We learn a ton, and have a fun time, too. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
