Whittier Wildcats
You and your fifth-grader have begun an adventurous trip into the exciting world of band music! For this adventure to become even more exciting, time and effort will be required. Please encourage your child to study her/his lesson book, and to practice her/his instrument, for a total of approximately thirty (30) minutes each day. It usually works best, especially for beginners, if this study/practice time is divided into two or three shorter sessions per day.
Band lessons will begin sometime between Thursday, October 1st and Wednesday, October 7th, depending on the day of the week to which your daughter/son has been assigned. She/He will be notified by her/his classroom teacher.
