Ms. Teresa Curley
On behalf of all the staff members at Whittier Elementary, I am excited to welcome our students and families to the 2017-2018 school year! This year marks my twenty-third year in education (where did the time go!). I have had the privilege of teaching third through eighth grades, serving as a reading specialist, assistant principal, and principal prior to coming to Whittier.
At Whittier Elementary we are dedicated to student programming that promotes academic excellence. To help keep you informed about all the wonderful things happening at our school, I encourage you to check out our school Facebook page, explore our website, and read our newsletter. We also encourage you to sign into Infinite Campus to view your child’s progress throughout the year.
Whittier Elementary is dedicated to being a fun and safe environment for students to learn in. The staff has worked diligently over the past several years to implement PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports). Whittier has been recognized as a school of distinction for the past two years. We are pleased to announce that our school has been recognized again this year by the State of Wisconsin for our multi level system of support for behavior! A team of teachers accepted the award for our school in August. Way to go Wildcats!!!!
Please know that our entire staff is here for you and welcomes your comments, questions, and insights. Please feel free to call or stop in anytime.
Here is to a wonderful school year! Go Wildcats!!!
